Being am American, a digital artist and more than a little patriotic… I decided to make some of my fee-based Judaic Independence Day eCards available for the July 4th weekend.

While the troops are never too far from my daily thoughts, on holidays like this it is hard not to acknowledge them as it is because of their bravery, dedication and sacrifices that I can sit here and do what I do in peace and relative safety.  Since 911 one would have to be a fool to think they were completely safe, but freedom is something we luxuriate in as Americans.

Dear Say It With eCards Club Members:

This will be quick.

I wanted to take a moment to wish all the Father’s a Happy and Joyous Father’s Day.

I also wanted to remind everyone that it takes just a moment to send an eCard to wish someone a Happy Father’s Day (or Happy Any Day).  That one gesture could make someone’s otherwise dreary and lonely day a joyous and happy event — Just knowing someone cared enough to take a moment to remember them!   We all need that kindness sometimes.  I know I do!

There are so many Father’s Day eCards to select from that you can find a card for just about anyone.  IF I missed someone, let me know!

Take a moment to send a card to a Father, Friend, Relative, Loved One, Business Associate, Acquaintance, etc.

We see each day how fragile life is.  The old saying:  “Here Today Gone Tomorrow” comes to mind.  It is more real than we would like to believe sometimes.

Please take advantage of the opportunity a holiday brings to touch base, mend fences, say hello.  Once the opportunity passes it may NEVER return and we are left with lifelong regrets of unfinished business.  I KNOW… I WOULD… do anything for just ONE MORE chance!

No matter how hard I try I can’t get rid of the ache in my heart each time Father’s Day rolls around…

The last time I saw my father alive was on Father’s Day 1989.  Two weeks later he was gone.  He went on a trip to Bermuda with his wife (my step mother) and returned home dead.  He passed away on the way home on the ship.  To me… it seems like yesterday.

I URGE YOU…

Don’t forget to remember to send Father’s Day eCards to everyone you know who is a father.  There is nothing worse than not being remembered on a day that is dedicated to you.  BE THERE when others may drop the ball!
